The Right Company Name Connects You With Your Customers
By Jerry Glynn

There are no hard and fast rules for choosing the right company name, which is why research is essential. You should of course choose a name that is both easy to pronounce and easy to spell, is in some way associated with the services and products that your business offers, and is creative enough to set you apart from the competition. This may sound like a tall order, but once you consider the nature and mission of your business, and take into account the tips below, it should not be too difficult.

Consider whether or not you are planning to trademark protect your new name, and either way; make sure that the name you are considering has not already been taken. This is an important consideration when choosing a domain name as well. Do not choose a name assuming that the domain name that matches has not already been taken. Check first, because having to choose a domain name that is different from your business name can be very detrimental in some, but not all instances.

Think about the future of your business, your goals, where you hope your business will be a few years down the road. In other words, be optimistic but realistic. Think big, but do not forget that a certain amount of hard work will go hand in hand with promoting your new business and your new company name. This also means that you should choose a name that is descriptive or contains descriptive terms. In some states, this is required by law; because it helps customers identify the services you provide and the products that you sell. You would not assume that Joes Plumbing Supplies would be where you would go to buy flowers after all. If you are looking for a dog groomer, would you choose a place called Paws Up or a groomer named Just Dog Wash. This may not be the most creative example, but you get the idea.

Repeat your company name out loud. Now do it again. Is it easy to say and to spell. If your company is on television and mentioned on the radio will people pronounce it correctly. If not, go back to drawing board, and remember, choosing a new company name is a process, but the results will be worth it. If you are still struggling with choosing a company name, there are companies that specialize in doing just that, and can help you if you run into problems.

EBook Marketing Plan, The Best Way To Market And Sell 35 EBooks, Part I
By Matt Bacak

Question: I have written 35 eBooks covering subjects on techniques and exercises of how to empower your mind to make money. The eBooks emphasize any given income opportunity. Should I have a separate website, squeeze page, sales page, order page, thank you page, and up sell page with each eBook? If so, is the opt-in the same for all 35 websites and goes to the same list?

Or should I put all 35 books on the same website and offer package deals of 10, 25, and 35 eBooks? If I do this one website format should I have a category format that contains the 35 eBooks along with a description for each eBook? Or will there be any advantage to doing both?

Answer: Your question really centers on creating a marketing plan for the 35 eBooks. Having 35 eBooks is definitely a good problem to have. To answer your question, let me explain how I would think about this situation in my mind. How I would go about it might sound different than how you are viewing the situation.

Here are the first four steps I would take for your 35 eBook marketing plan:

Step #1: Think about your 35 eBooks. Which books are the top sellers? You will use these top sellers in your marketing.

Step #2: I would have one main squeeze page. I would buy a domain that is separate from the eBooks. Make this website your main squeeze page.

Step #3: Then take the top 3 to 5 best sellers and write sales letters for each of these sites. Then split test the sales letters. Place these sales letters on your main squeeze page. Determine which sales letters convert the best after you drive the traffic to the main squeeze page.

Step #4: Once you have figured out which sales letter has the highest conversion rate then make that sales letter the main sales letter on your squeeze page. Optimize this top converting sales letter.

Basically, after people opt-in to your main squeeze page have them land on the best converting sales letter you have. Once you have the top sales letter working for you then look at the eBook that is in the sales letter.

These four steps will get you started on your eBook
